As a little girl I always loved spending time in my dad’s salon. So it was no surprise when I decided to follow in his footsteps. I attended PB Cosmetology Education Center upon graduating from high school as well as Rowan University. I then began my career on July 3, 1993 at my father’s salon Jay’s Styling Room and had the pleasure of working together until his retirement. My dad taught me so much about how to take care of people inside and outside of the salon. The two of us consistently continued our education on the newest trends and techniques attending many seminars and classes at the New York and Atlantic City Hair Shows. During this time we also organized and taught many classes for the South Jersey Hairstylists Association. After 30 years, I’ve decided to take my love for this industry to a new level with a full service salon and spa. I specialize in color, highlighting, men and women’s haircuts, and also enjoy performing relaxing manicures, pedicures and facials. It is my goal that my clients leave my chair looking and feeling refreshed and renewed. Hopefully, they’ve laughed, shared or heard a great story, and maybe even made a new friend while here. Enjoy!
Hi, I'm Julianna! I am presently working towards my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fordham University. I then went on to earn my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at PCOM. I strive to meet the personal needs of those I work with. I plan to do this with each individual who enters the salon. I obtained this ambition by watching my mom (Crystal), mommom (Debbie), and poppop (Jay) form beautiful, considerate relationships with each client and viewed them as family and friends. Walking into Jay's Styling Room and interacting with the clientele always made me happy as a young girl. I am ecstatic to be a part of the loving and peaceful environment stemming from Jay's Styling Room, now in Crystal Jay's!
Hi, I’m Olivia! I recently graduated from Rowan University with my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. While completing my schooling, I worked part-time as a receptionist at a hair salon and fell in love with working on the “business-side” of the beauty industry. Providing exemplary customer service and connecting with a wide variety of clients is a passion of mine. I’m excited to continue to hone these skills as salon manager. I look forward to meeting you!

I realized how much I love skin care, so I continued my education at Rizzieri as an Esthetician. I love to travel with my husband and hang out with my cats! I graduated from GCIT, but I've been studying cosmetology since I was 14, and have been working in salons since the age of 16! I'm excited to grow my career at Crystal Jay's Salon and Spa for the years to come. I believe my passion for the beauty industry is shown through my commitment, devotion, hard work, and patience, which has guided me into the woman I am today, and a more experienced stylist of tomorrow. Practically born in my grandmother‘s beauty salon in Woodbury Heights, I learned how to become the stylist I am today at an early age! I was raised watching my mother and my three aunts transform their customers with their craft; leading me to complete my first brilliantly praised haircut at the age of eleven! I knew then that this was my passion!
After a few years. I pursued my license at Gloucester County Vocational School and graduated at the age of 18. Here, I continued my calling at the familiar salon where I grew up by taking over my mother’s clients of 22 years after she relocated to Florida.
After I had my two beautiful daughters, I took a hiatus from the professional atmosphere, but continued to build my clientele by working on my family and friends. Now I am a proud grandmother and I can’t wait to get back into the salon environment where I can meet new clients.
